Z-man is a big fan of trucks, not just any trucks but BIG Trucks. He has been a fan ever since he first called them Gunk-Gunks. We aren't sure what that ment but he got pretty fired up when he saw them. As the father of the boy, it makes me proud that he loves them so much and not flowers and pink stuffed teddy bears.
Zachy quote of the day: Oh no, no more fries! What are we going to do now?
We had his normal dinner fav, Chicken Nuggets and fries, they are microwaved in a box so they are a piece of cake to make. This was said after he (and dad) had finished his meal. So being the super dad that I am, I made him another helping. He finished about half of his 2nds. But has continued to work on them throughout the night. He may finish them yet.
Christie wants it to be noted that she does in fact cook! She does do a wonderful job, Z just is a picky eater and doesn't like to branch much in his diet.
Until later

Here it is!
With the recent family gatherings, we have fielded many requests for photos of the Z man. I decided creating a "family blog" would be the easiest way to get everyone the photos and info they want. Brock mentioned that he had been having trouble accessing the website we stared when Zach was just a little baby. That is long gone--but this is our attempt to resurrect it! We must say that we are pleased you are still wanting photos and info about the little man and his activities! Here goes...
Christmas was great. His favorite gift is 4 matchbox airplanes Santa left in his stocking. He has taken them everywhere since receiving them, and panics if he cannot find all four planes. Unfortunately, the blue plane tends to crash a lot because he has been watching Daddy play the flight simulator game on the computer, and Daddy frequently crashes! He also got lots of new books, many about trucks, so daddy is more excited for bedtime, and he received two tow trucks. One from Santa and one from Laura and Martin. Both sets of grandparents got him rugs to play cars and trucks on. He loves both.
Zach knows that he is going to get a brother, but he only acknowledges this occasionally. He will not recommend any potential names. Brent and I don't have a clue on names either, and will call the little guy Chip until we meet him.
Tonight, he accidentally drilled mommy in the head with a REAL golf ball he threw across the room. I was blogging on my business blog, and he totally caught me by surprise. I cried and he felt horrible...he kept saying, "I so sorry, mommy! I sorry!" We have now hidden all the real golf balls in the house, and established a firm "No throwing golf balls" rule!
Potty training is not going so well. He is completely trained at Laura's, but refuses to go at home. He pooped his pants about 5 minutes after he walked in the door tonight! Brent and I are not enjoying this stage, and are having problems convincing him that he needs to use the potty!
